Stomme i ask på trissor, front i korrugerad och patinerad plåt med infällt väggur i mässing samt patinerad mässing, handtag i svart läder, hyllplan av järnplåt, höjd 196 cm, bredd 53 cm, djup 34 cm. Att klä hus i plåt är en isländsk tradition sedan över 150 år. Det är det material som bäst klarat det väder som råder på ön. Som husarkitekt är denna plåt ett material som alltså har betydelse och är en viktig lokal referens för Sigurdur. Hans fars verkstad och ett intilliggande båtvarv var platser som också satte hans fantasi i rörelse när han var barn. Hur väder och vind påverkar och förändrar utseendet på material.
