The cable is intended for fixed installation indoors and outdoors. When laid in the ground, the cable must be provided with additional protection against mechanical damage. The cable is UV-protected.
EQLQ Easy is a halogen-free, HFFR-insulated, aluminium-tape screened, HFFR-sheathed installation cable with round, solid copper conductors. No talc is used in the cable. The cable has a drain wire of twisted, tinned copper strands beneath and in contact with the aluminium tape. EQLQ Easy is designed in accordance with applicable parts of SS 424 02 19-6. The conductors comply with SS-EN 60228 class 1 for conductor construction and resistance. The cores are colour-coded according to SS 424 17 20. The sheath is marked with type/manufacturer/year+month/metre marking. The cable meets fire spread class D. UV-protected in accordance with HD626 S1 part 2.5.1. The conductor insulation must be protected from direct UV light, which may occur, for example, in lighting fixtures and illuminated signs. The cable is approved by Intertek SEMKO.
