The cable is intended for fixed installation indoors and outdoors. When laid in the ground, the cable must be provided with extra protection against mechanical damage. The cable is UV-protected.
EQLQ Easy is a halogen-free, HFFR-insulated, aluminium-taped, HFFR-sheathed installation cable with round, solid copper conductors. No talc is used in the cable. The cable has a drain wire of twisted tinned copper strands under and in contact with the aluminium tape. EQLQ Easy is designed in accordance with SS 424 02 19-6 where applicable. The conductors meet the strand count and resistance requirements of SS-EN 60228 class 1. The cores are colour-coded according to SS 424 17 20. The sheath is marked with type/manufacturer/year+month/metre marking. The cable meets flame spread class D. UV-protected according to HD626 S1 part 2.5.1. The conductor insulation must be protected from direct UV light, such as that found in lighting fixtures and illuminated signs. The cable is approved by Intertek SEMKO.
