With room for up to four children, smooth electric assist and a stable construction, it is perfect for taking the kids to preschool, doing the weekly shop on the way home or loading up the cargo box for the weekend's adventures. Simply put, it is a practical, fun and affordable alternative to the car for many everyday journeys. Safe seating for up to four children The front cargo box on the Cargobike Flex has two benches with room for up to four children. The children sit in front of you, safely secured with three-point harnesses, while you keep them close and within sight throughout the journey. One bench also has a built-in lockable storage compartment. One-piece cast magnesium wheels Cargobike Flex is equipped with strong, one-piece cast magnesium wheels. Since the wheels have no traditional spokes, there is no need to re-tension or adjust them. This provides a durable construction with less maintenance, a clear advantage for a cargo bike that is used often and carries heavy loads. Hydraulic brakes and automatic lighting A fully loaded cargo bike places high demands on the brakes. That is why Cargobike Flex comes with hydraulic brakes as standard, for effective and controlled braking power. Automatic lighting is also included as standard, so that you are more visible when light conditions change. Power in both motor and battery The reliable Ananda motor in the rear wheel delivers 45 Nm of torque and helps you travel comfortably even when the cargo box is full. You can choose between five assistance levels and easily adapt the support to the load, road surface and pace. The electric assist is powered by a 12.8 Ah battery with quality cells from Samsung/LG, mounted in the rear rack and easily removable for charging. The battery is tested and approved in accordance with the EU's safety requirements, EN50604. The bike features an external 7-speed Shimano gear system, and depending on factors such as load, assistance level, road surface and weather conditions, the Flex has an estimated range of up to 40 kilometres. Certified safety Our bikes are carefully tested and approved according to the German standard for cargo bikes DIN 79010:2020 and the EU standard EN 17860. They are TÜV-tested and CE-marked, ensuring that they meet high requirements for safety, brakes, frame strength and load capacity.
