AVPro Edge AC-MX-88HDBT is an advanced 8×8 HDMI and HDBaseT matrix that enables distribution of up to eight HDMI sources to eight displays simultaneously – both via HDMI and over network cable. Each output has both HDMI and HDBaseT ports that are mirrored and active at the same time, providing maximum flexibility in professional AV installations. 

The matrix supports HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.3, and up to 18Gbps of bandwidth, making it fully compatible with modern 4K systems and HDR formats. Thanks to AVPro Edge's own HDBaseT technology (ICT), 18Gbps signals can be transmitted over CAT6a cabling across long distances without compromising picture quality.

18Gbps bandwidth – Full support for 4K/60 Hz 4:4:4 video. 
HDR compatibility – Support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG. 
HDCP 2.3 – Backward compatible with previous versions. 
Video conversion and scaling
 
1080p → 4K upscaling via HDMI
4K → 1080p downscaling via HDBaseT 
 
Long transmission distances – Up to approx. 70 meters in 4K via CAT6a and up to 100 meters in 1080p via HDBaseT. 
PoH (Power over HDBaseT) – Powers HDBaseT receivers directly over the network cable. 
Advanced EDID management – Ensures compatibility between different sources and displays. 
Audio management – Digital Toslink output, analog balanced audio output and adjustable audio delay. 
Test pattern per output – Facilitates installation and troubleshooting. 
  
Easy control and integration
 

AC-MX-88HDBT can be controlled via LAN, RS-232, or IR and supports control systems such as Crestron, Control4, RTI, ELAN, and URC. The built-in AVPro Edge User Interface (AEUI) provides installers with a powerful web-based interface for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting the system. 
 
For professional installations
 

The robust 2U rack-mountable design makes the matrix ideal for installation in conference rooms, hotels, educational environments, control rooms, digital signage, and larger home theater systems where video and audio need to be distributed over long distances.
