Integrators will appreciate its versatility, offering not only up/down scaling control but also EDID management (including 4K HDR EDIDs), image enhancement, and access to audio from the stream. This scaler is ready for future content, as it supports 18 Gbps signal distribution. If you have 1080p displays, the AC-SC1-AUHD will make sure they receive the correct picture. This product works great alongside AVPro Edge matrix switchers, allowing you to provide the customer with the best resolution possible. Key benefits of using the AC-SC1-AUHD: Full HDR Support: With a wide range of HDR EDIDs to choose from, HDR can be activated on compatible displays regardless of the infrastructure requirements. This provides flexibility in system design and helps you maximize budgets by delivering HDR content where you want it. 4K-->1080P Down-Scaling: This is possibly one of the most important features in a mixed system. Most AVRs, matrix switchers, and other peripherals do not have scaling capability. Typically, 4K systems are limited to the maximum resolution of the cheapest or oldest display, which is normally 1080p. Even with the most expensive 4K matrix, you would still have to "dumb down" the entire system for compatibility. The AC-SC1-AUHD is the solution. Simply place the scaler before the 1080p display(s) and enjoy 4K content on compatible displays while keeping the same content on the 1080p display(s). HDBaseT Compatibility Mode (HDBT-C): This exclusive AVPro Edge technology enables conversion of high-bandwidth signals (between 9 Gbps and 18 Gbps) from sources such as UHD players, HDR content, gaming systems, PCs, and media players. This type of conversion uses a proprietary algorithm that has minimal impact on the original image, allowing HDR and high-bandwidth signals to be transmitted over long-distance devices such as HDBaseT extenders (AC-EX70-UHD). It also supports the use of displays that do not support 18 Gbps. Best of all, this is managed on a per-output basis, allowing complete control over which individual runs are "down-clocked". 1080P-->4K Up-Scaling: Combined with the image enhancement circuit, this feature will take drab 1080p sources and make them shine on a 4K display. A 4K display will automatically upscale the picture to 4K (ultimately relying on the display's own processing), but it will not look as professional as when using the AC-SC1-AUHD. The Most Advanced EDID Management: There are 16 preloaded EDID settings, from legacy technology (1080p) to full 4K and HDR options. This is the only device that provides this unique EDID combination. The AC-SC1-AUHD also has custom user EDID for future use, full customization, and EDID bypass for using the sink EDID. L/R Audio De-embedding: The AC-SC1-AUHD has an audio output that allows audio to be extracted anywhere in a system and rerouted where it is needed most. AC-SC1-AUHD units can be combined, and multiple streams can be extracted from multiple outputs or sources.
