### Beskrivning

```markdown
Safety switch SA, grey plastic enclosure with 4-pole switch and 25 A switching capacity. Max. conductor size 6 mm². Equipped with a side-mounted lockable rotary handle and position indication. Supplied with two M20 cable glands. The enclosure is rated IP65 and made of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate (PC) is particularly known for its extremely high impact resistance, both in cold conditions and at high temperatures, and it retains its properties well even after prolonged outdoor exposure. The material is resistant to weak acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, paraffin and alcohols (except methanol). However, it is less resistant to oil, grease and solvents. Polycarbonate (PC) should not be exposed to hot water at +60°C for extended periods. We therefore recommend metal-enclosed switches in, for example, restaurant kitchens. Enclosed load-break switches / switch-disconnectors in accordance with IEC 60947-3 can also be used as safety switches where required. According to current regulations, a safety switch must be connected in the main circuit to isolate part of the installation during mechanical or electrical work and to prevent accidental energisation of the installation while work is in progress. As a safety switch must only be used to isolate part of the installation, it is necessary for an installation's electrical circuit to have both a control switch for start and stop and a separate switch acting as a safety switch. Load-break switches / switch-disconnectors in accordance with IEC 60947-3 can be used both as safety switches and as separate switching devices.
