Nordic Finance has already been working with business financing for both new and used machinery and vehicles. The company is now seeing growing interest from its customers in investing in used equipment, driven by both economic and sustainability considerations. Through the partnership with Budi, Nordic Finance is making a focused investment to meet demand in the second-hand market.
A way to protect the environment
"With a growing focus on the climate impact of consumption, we are seeing increased awareness of reuse. We are seeing growing interest among business owners in adopting a circular economy perspective," says Mats Westergård, business developer at Nordic Finance.
He continues: "During COVID-19, several manufacturers have also experienced production stoppages, leading many to turn to the second-hand market to gain access to the equipment they need for their operations. Our partnership with Budi helps us respond to both of these trends."

Through the partnership, businesses that want to bid on auction items at Budi.se can also easily and quickly apply for a leasing pre-approval through Nordic Finance. This gives business owners extra purchasing power to secure the item in a safe and simple way.
"We want to give business owners greater purchasing power in a simple way through leasing," says Mats Westergård.
"We see that customers are bringing their consumer behavior into the business world, which naturally places different demands on services aimed at business owners. Entrepreneurs want to be able to find items and buy digitally, which means financing needs to become a natural part of the purchasing process."
Focus on the customer experience
"When we started Budi.se, one of the driving forces was to create a service that makes it easy for sellers and buyers to do business. Through our partnership with Nordic Finance, we can now also help both parties close deals faster by offering financing," says Stefan Baronowsky, founder and auction broker at Budi.
"We are enhancing our customer service because, on the same platform where customers find auction items, they can also estimate a monthly leasing cost for the item at different bid levels," adds Stefan.

Through the partnership with Budi, Nordic Finance can also offer its suppliers an efficient auction platform on which to sell their used machinery.
