Budi continues its strong growth journey and is now strengthening its presence even further in Västra Götaland. As part of the expansion, we welcome five new auction brokers to the team – all with extensive experience and deep local knowledge.

The sun shone over Mantorp as Budi attended this year’s major truck show. At the booth, visitors were welcomed with coffee, conversations about auctions, and discussions on the reuse of heavy vehicles.

Budi has reached an important milestone: five years since its start in a walk-in closet in Bromma. The journey from a first opportunity to win an assignment to today’s nationwide operation has been marked by growth, lessons learned and a strong sense of gratitude. The focus is now on the future and on continuing to change how companies manage machinery and equipment.

Together with customers and partners, Budi contributed a total of SEK 601,885 to The Salvation Army's Christmas fundraiser. The money will go to support families with children, the elderly, and people in vulnerable situations across Sweden.

There is now a chance to acquire unique pieces of music history. Budi is auctioning a selection of music equipment from the world-renowned producer Anders Bagge – including microphones and instruments used in iconic recordings.

In October, Budi was represented by CTO Peter Örneholm at OpenAI's developer conference in London. As one of only a few Swedish companies present, Budi had a unique opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in artificial intelligence.

Lucas Norrhamn, formerly production manager and producer for Formula 1 at Viaplay Group, has joined Budi Auktioner as project manager focusing on insolvency. With extensive experience in the TV industry and a strong operational background, Lucas looks forward to contributing to Budi’s continued growth as one of Sweden’s fastest-growing auction platforms. Budi welcomes Lucas with great enthusiasm.

Budi has been commissioned by Fazer to sell more than 70 of its modern Euro 6 trucks. This follows Fazer Bakery's decision to discontinue its in-house distribution in Sweden, meaning that its entire fleet of 250 vehicles will be phased out — likely Sweden's largest truck sell-off in recent years.

Taverna Brillo has been declared bankrupt, and Budi is auctioning off the furnishings designed by Jonas Bohlin. The auctions will run throughout June, with professional kitchen equipment and fine furniture up for sale.

Long-established Ekerö Innemöbler AB has been declared bankrupt, and furniture and furnishings worth millions will now be auctioned off via Budi.se, with the auction ending on May 10. Ekerö Innemöbler was founded on a clear business idea: to sell designer furniture that combined quality and functionality, featuring brands such as Poliform, Fritz Hansen and Flos. Furniture and furnishings are now being auctioned off on the auction platform Budi.se

The green auction platform Budi is currently listing the first used all-electric truck for auction. It is a Volvo FE Electric and is suitable for city transport, light construction work and goods deliveries. – It is positive for both the climate and the market that people looking to buy used can now choose electric alternatives, says Budi’s founder Johannes Winberg

Together for BRIS. Together with Coop, the auction platform Budi is now launching charity auctions in support of BRIS. All proceeds go directly to their work to make children’s voices heard. The auction is currently live on www.budi.se.

Malte Månson, Sweden's largest independent workshop chain for trucks and commercial vehicles, and Budi, the auction and marketplace for heavy vehicles, machinery and other movable assets, have entered into a new partnership. The partnership strengthens ties with sellers and buyers. Customers can now hand over the key to their vehicle, and Budi takes care of the entire process, from workshop inspection to delivery.

Coop – this year’s most sustainable brand – is now entering into a partnership with the auction house Budi. Through the partnership with Budi, Coop wants to encourage and reward its members who choose to shop sustainably and extend the lifespan of products that have already been produced.

Tecto Trucks is now expanding its partnership with the auction platform Budi and opening Sweden's first purpose-built studio for truck photography. To present the vehicles in the best possible way, Tecto Trucks has now built a photo studio adjacent to its facility in Markaryd. The studio covers 200 square metres, has a height of seven metres and is purpose-built for commercial and heavy vehicles.

The auction platform Budi is now entering into a partnership with Assistancekåren. The purpose is to facilitate the handling of heavy vehicles, passenger cars and construction machinery in repossessions, bankruptcies or divestments.

Budi is now expanding its used truck sales. The auction site has recently entered into partnerships with both Nordic Truckcenter, the general distributor for DAF trucks in Sweden, and Tecto Trucks, an authorised DAF workshop.
