Taverna Brillo declared bankrupt – Budi auctions off the furnishings

Taverna Brillo has been declared bankrupt, and Budi is auctioning off the furnishings designed by Jonas Bohlin. The auctions will run throughout June, with professional kitchen equipment and fine furniture up for sale.

It is now official that the iconic restaurant Taverna Brillo at Stureplan in Stockholm has been declared bankrupt. To give the restaurant's interior a new lease of life, Budi will hold several auctions where furnishings from the restaurant will be sold to the public.

The auctions will include professional kitchen equipment, tables and chairs in various sizes and models, elegant lamps, decorative copper fittings, and audio equipment. Many of these items were designed by the acclaimed interior architect and designer Jonas Bohlin, giving them a unique collector's value.

The first auction starts today, Tuesday 28 May, and additional auctions will be held in stages throughout June. Budi looks forward to offering these unique items to its customers and giving them the opportunity to own a piece of Taverna Brillo's legacy.

– It is, of course, very sad that Taverna Brillo is being forced to close its doors, but we are pleased to be able to give our customers the chance to acquire pieces of this historic restaurant. By auctioning off the furnishings, Brillo's spirit and style can live on in many homes and other settings. The items are of high quality and can continue to be appreciated for many years to come, says Johannes Winberg of Budi Auktioner.
